ALMANCIL: Germany arrived in Portugal on Wednesday with no fans to greet them and plenty to worry about before the start of their Euro 2004 campaign.
The squad, who have suffered embarrassing defeats in the build-up to the tournament, landed in Faro and drove straight to their exclusive hotel outside the Algarve resort of Almancil.
