KULIM: Thirteen-year-old Tee Jing Yi of Penang continued her giant-killing run to march into the national schools (MSSM) badminton championships’ Under-15 girls’ singles quarter-finals at the Kulim Chinese Recreation Club Hall yesterday.
The Form One student of Bukit Jalil Sports School has no fear in taking on older opponents and her latest victim was schoolmate Woon Kee Wei of Selangor. Jing Yi won the second round match 11-4, 11-2.
