FAR HILLS (New Jersey): Australian Craig Parry, Japan's Shigeki Maruyama and Sweden's Joakim Haeggman were among 12 golfers who have become exempt for the US Open based upon their world rankings.
The US Golf Association announced here on Tuesday that with the additions from the world's 50 top-rated players, 76 men are exempt for 2004's second major, set for June 17-20 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
