MONACO: An explosive device damaged the home stadium of the Monaco football club and a nearby building overnight but caused no casualties, officials said on Sunday.
“It's the first time that an explosion set off by a bomb has occurred in Monaco,” said Monaco government adviser Jose Badia, saying it was a proven “criminal” attack. “We were lucky because no one was injured,” Badia said.
