THE absence of Vietnam SEA Games silver medallist Mohd Robani Hassan from the Sukma athletics competition has come as a blessing for Mohd Faiz Mohamed of Negri Sembilan.
Faiz, who won the boys' 110m hurdles in the last two Sukma in Penang in 2000 and Sabah in 2002, was dethroned by Robani in the Vietnam SEA Games last year.
