ANKARA: Three Turkish athletes training for the Olympics in Athens were given an even greater incentive to run fast on Monday when they were confronted by a bear.
Kemal Koyuncu, Elvan Abeylegesse and Tezeta Dsela had just finished morning training at a camp in a mountainous area near Bolu, half way between Ankara and Istanbul, when they came across the bear.
