BOURGES (France): A French footballer was jailed for four months on Thursday after being found guilty of attacking a former girlfriend.
Mohamed Benabdellah, 20, who plays for Division Two side Chateauroux, will miss out on his team’s French Cup final with Paris Saint-Germain and will also have his contract terminated.
