LONDON: The death of the father of English Premiership champions Arsenal defender Sol Campbell last September forced the player to think about stopping playing for several months, he revealed on Monday.
The 29-year-old England star added he hadn't thought about leaving the sport entirely and the title which was clinched with the 2-2 draw at bitter city rivals Spurs on Sunday had gone some way to countering the loss of his father.
