KUANTAN: Former overall expert champion Chia Tuck Cheong won the second round of the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship, which was held at Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan yesterday.
Tuck Cheong, who won the expert class in 1997 and 2001, completed the 12-lap race in 12:36.581. The Team Shell Advance Harian Metro Maju Motor rider was three seconds clear of Shahrul Nizam Tajuddin of Team Shell KF Yamaha MIG who clocked 12:39.512. Ahmad Fuad (Team Eveready Raceline) timed 12:46.044 for third.
