MIDDLESBROUGH: David O’Leary has admitted for the first time that Aston Villa – relegation candidates at the start of the season – could finish the campaign by snatching a place in the Champions League.
The Irishman, who guided Leeds to the semi-finals of Europe’s premier competition three years ago, has spent most of the season playing down his revitalised current side’s chances of European football.
