EAST RUTHERFORD (New Jersey): Freddy Adu did not disappoint the crowd of more than 31,000 at Giants Stadium, scoring his first Major League Soccer goal for DC United in a 3-2 loss to the MetroStars.
The 14-year-old football prodigy became the youngest player – by nearly two years – to score in an MLS game when he lifted United within 3-2 in the 75th minute.
