Near-perfect Muslifah outshines the national shooters

PETALING JAYA: Twenty-year-old Muslifah Zulkifli of Penang put a field of national shooters to shame – shooting a near perfect 399, setting two national records and winning the women's individual 10m air rifle – on the opening day of the President Ally T. H. Ong Shooting Trophy at the Subang Shooting Range yesterday.

Muslifah, who will be competing in the Sukma (Malaysia Games) in Negri Sembilan next month, fired the 399 for a qualifying national record, beating Nurul Hudda Baharin's old mark by four points.
