Khalid stars in Perak’s win over Sarawak

IPOH: National striker Khalid Jamlus played a sterling role, scoring once and setting up two goals as Perak beat Sarawak 3-0 in their FA Cup second round return-leg match at the Perak Stadium last night to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit.

Perak got going from the start with Khalid almost erasing the 1-0 deficit just six minutes into the game. Khalid accepted a through pass from Frank Seator at the top of the penalty box but could only manage a tame shot which Sarawak goalkeeper Kamarulzaman Hassan easily fielded.
