DUBLIN: Manchester United captain Roy Keane has agreed to play for Ireland again, nearly two years after he stormed out of the squad on the eve of the World Cup vowing never to return.
The 32-year-old is back in the Irish set-up with immediate effect and will be available for the 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign later this year, the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) said on Tuesday.
