KUALA LUMPUR: Teenager Daniel Bego continued with his record breaking performances when he bagged another two gold medals in the boy's under-14 category of the South-east Asia inter-club age-group swimming championships at the Kuala Lumpur Swimming Complex in Cheras yesterday.

The Miri-lad, who is representing Ikan Bilis Swimming Club (IKBC), bagged a freestyle double in the 200m and 400m distances, both in record times.

Daniel clocked 1:58.10 to smash Singapore's Nicolas Teo's meet record of 2:01.09 set in 2002 in the 200m freestyle event. He returned later to smash the 400m freestyle meet record, clocking 4:19.88 to erase Nicholas's previous mark of 4:22.34 set last year.
