LOS ANGELES: Swedish superstar Annika Sorenstam, seeking a third Los Angeles title, made two late birdies to cap a 4-under 68 on Friday and grab a one-shot lead during the first round of the LPGA Los Angeles event.
Sorenstam won this event in 2001 and again last year.
