Jeff’s new job is to identify errant drivers


OKAYAMA (Japan): Experienced Malaysian motor sports official Jeff Amin has landed a new job, identifying errant drivers in the 2004 Japan Grand Touring Championship which begins at the Tanaka International Circuit Aida here today. 

The 59-year-old official, who obtained a clerk-of-course super licence from the International Automobile Federation (FIA), has been given the task by the Grand Touring Association (GT-A) to identify reckless drivers throughout the championship. Malaysia will also be hosting one of the legs in the championship in Sepang from June 18-19.
