PETALING JAYA: National number one Wong Choong Hann (pic) overcame a jittery start to beat Peter Gade-Christensen of Denmark to reach the men’s singles semi-finals of the US$200,000 Korean Open badminton championships in Choongju City yesterday.
But youngster Lee Chong Wei went down tamely at 3-15, 13-15 in 57 minutes to Park Tae-sang of South Korea in the quarter-finals of the five-star championships.
