Rugby players to learn respect for women

SYDNEY: Australian National Rugby League (NRL) players will undergo courses to improve their attitude towards women following a spate of sexual assault allegations, the league announced yesterday.

NRL club chief executives also decided at a meeting here to offer “mentoring” lessons to senior players in each club so they can help younger teammates cope with the pressures of life as a professional footballer.
