Leicester ban after-match booze, sex case players back home

LONDON: English Premiership football club Leicester City has decided to ban alcohol from the club bar and promised a thorough investigation into its players alleged involvement in a serious sexual assault during a trip to Spain.

Speaking shortly after three players, Paul Dickov, Keith Gillespie and Frank Sinclair, were released on bail from a Spanish jail, the club's chief operating officer, Paul Mace, said the club recognised the need to respond to a scandal that has tarnished its image and that of English football in general.
