LONDON: Sunderland were held to a 3-3 draw by fellow playoff contenders Preston in a thrilling English First Division match at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday.
Sunderland, who played the last half hour with only 10 men, remain in ninth place with 52 points from 32 games while Preston move up one place to 10th with 51 points from 35 matches in the battle for a top six finish.
