MUNICH: Karl-Heinz Wildmoser, president of Munich 1860, was detained yesterday in police investigations into the building contract for the new Allianz-Arena stadium which is set to stage the opening match in the 2006 World Cup.
Fraud squad detectives raided the offices of Munich 1860 and German champions Bayern Munich who will share the stadium, police added.
