SYDNEY: Laura Davies broke through for her first women's Australian Open by six strokes at Concord here yesterday.
The 40-year-old English star had a closing round of two-under 70 to finish five-under 283 to beat Australia's Rachel Teske (73-71-71-74) with England's Trish Johnson (72-72-77-70) third at three over 291.
