BUENOS AIRES: Argentina's 1986 World Cup-winning coach Carlos Bilardo says he has been cleared of a charge of drinking champagne in public at last weekend's match between Estudiantes, the team he now coaches, and River Plate.
Instead of watching the match from the dugout in the traditional manner, Bilardo sat on the touchline by the side of a small, round table on which he placed a light blue table cloth, champagne bottle and glass.
