CARLSBAD (California): Defending champion Tiger Woods was in complete command on Friday, cruising into the quarter-finals of the US$7mil Match Play Championship in impressive fashion.
Woods, the top seed, won both of his matches by 5 and 4 margins, dusting off South African Trevor Immelman in the rain delayed second round before hammering Sweden's Fredrik Jacobson in the third round.
