KUALA LUMPUR: Thailand, led by Boonsak Ponsana, won the fifth and final berth to the Thomas Cup Finals from the Asian Zone qualifying tournament with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hong Kong here yesterday.
The 21-year-old Boonsak slogged for 93 minutes to beat Ng Wei 15-12, 11-15, 15-10 in the opening match of the tie for fifth place.
