Doctors: Feher had heart deformity


LISBON: Doctors in charge of the autopsy of Benfica’s Hungarian striker Miklos Feher, who died on the pitch last month, have discovered the player suffered from a congenital heart deformity, daily newspaper Jornal de Noticias reported on Thursday.  

The unnamed doctors told the paper that preliminary results of tissue samples taken from the 24-year-old indicate he suffered from the problem, which had not been detected during medicals carried out by the various clubs he played for.
