PARIS: France are banking on stability rather than a great purge to thread their way back to rugby glory in the Six Nations championship three months after their lacklustre defeat to England in the World Cup semi-finals.
The French play their opening game tomorrow, at the Stade de France, against Ireland, the team they destroyed in the World Cup quarter-finals on Nov 9 in Melbourne.
