LONDON: Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier insisted on Tuesday that England striker Michael Owen was not being left to fend for himself up front.
Critics of the Frenchmans tactics have complained that Owen who has not scored in nine games is being played as a lone striker and is not receiving the support he deserves.
