Houllier has faith in Owen and the system


LONDON: Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier insisted on Tuesday that England striker Michael Owen was not being left to fend for himself up front. 

Critics of the Frenchman’s tactics have complained that Owen – who has not scored in nine games – is being played as a lone striker and is not receiving the support he deserves.
