Magnier targets O'Neill as United boss


LONDON: Irish racing tycoon John Magnier is reportedly trying to get Celtic manager Martin O’Neill to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. 

Magnier, United’s biggest shareholder with business partner JP McManus, is determined to remove Ferguson after he sued the pair over stud rights to the champion racehorse Rock Of Gibraltar, The Times reported yesterday.
