KUALA LUMPUR: The first professional cycling team from the Philippines, Pagcor-Casino Filipino Pro Cycling Team, will be joining the chase for Asian honours when the Tour of Langkawi starts on Friday.
In an effort to boost Asian cycling and expose more regional riders to top-level competition, Tour organisers First Cartel Sdn Bhd has invited the Filipino outfit, who will parade a team of four strong climbers, two sprinters and an all-round rider.
