Figo concerned over player overload after Feher death

LISBON: Portuguese international Luis Figo has said the on-field death of Benfica's Miklos Feher may be a sign that professional footballers are risking their health by taking part in too many competitions.

“We were all really saddened by the death of Feher,” he said during an event in Madrid to promote the Euro 2004 football finals in Portugal.
