BIZERTE (Tunisia): Mamadou Niang scored twice as Senegal eased past Kenya 3-0 here yesterday to edge closer to the quarter-finals of the African Nations Cup and condemn their opponents to elimination.
After a disappointing 0-0 draw in their opening Group B game against Burkina Faso, the pressure was on Senegal, World Cup quarter-finalists in 2002, to deliver here and they did just that by outclassing a battling Kenya in the opening 45 minutes.
