Rajagopal plods on despite a less-than-ideal preparation

PETALING JAYA: No one really expects the national team, who are preparing for the pre-World Cup, to beat fancied Japan in a high-profile warm-up in Tokyo on Feb 7.

But tonight, the team will play in another friendly that they have to win, no matter what. They face Super League side Sabah at the Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya at 8.45pm and they have to avoid the embarrassment suffered before the last pre-World Cup campaign in 2001.
