ROME: Pierluigi Collina was voted best referee in the world for the sixth consecutive year by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) on Thursday.
Collina, who took charge of the 2002 World Cup final between Brazil and Germany, polled the most number of votes gathered by the IFFHS from football journalists in 81 countries.
