BANGKOK: National singles shuttler Lee Tsuen Seng's agony in international tournaments continued when he suffered a first round defeat in the US$50,000 Thailand Open at the National Stadium here yesterday.
The 24-year-old Tsuen Seng, who was determined to bounce back after a one-year slump, lost 6-15, 15-7, 7-15 to eighth seed Bjoern Joppien of Germany.
