Anti-hooligan measures spark brawls in Greece


ATHENS: New anti-hooligan measures designed to curb violence in Greece’s football stadiums produced the opposite result on Sunday, provoking brawls between hooligans and police in Athens. 

Fans of AEK Athens and Ionikos Athens exchanged kicks, punches and threw plastic seats at each other, just minutes before their match kicked off.
