LONDON: Premier League Bolton Wanderers paid the price for fielding a weakened side when they crashed out of the FA Cup on Tuesday, losing to second division Tranmere Rovers 2-1 in a third round replay.
A dull game sprang to life in the final 10 minutes when Eugene Dadi put Rovers ahead in the 82nd minute, only for Bolton to level with a last-gasp equaliser from Ricky Shakes.
