PETALING JAYA: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will be taking another giant step forward in their bid to revive the dwindling standard of the local game in the Malaysian League (M-League) with the introduction of the Super League, which will be launched at the Palace of the Golden Horses tonight.
After having turned fully professional for almost a decade, Malaysian football have not reaped anything positive. Malaysia are in a lowly 116 position in the FIFA rankings. And they have not make much impact at the regional level (SEA Games) either.
