SEOUL: International Olympic Committee (IOC) vice-president Kim Un-yong of South Korea, under investigation for bribery and embezzlement charges, resigned yesterday from the National Assembly and the presidency of the World Taekwondo Federation.
The 72-year-old is accused of accepting bribes from two men in return for their admission in the Korean Olympic Committee as well as defrauding different sport federations.
