PENANG: After more than two weeks of trials, Brazilian Joao Berdoch and Cameroonian Essa Mvondo Basile finally secured their places in the Perlis squad for the new Super League season.
Perlis had a handful of foreigners on their list but the duo did enough to impress coach Norizan Bakar and secure a one-year contract with the Northern Lions.
