Butler blitz stuns Pakistanis as New Zealand take control


WELLINGTON: New Zealand fast bowler Ian Butler ripped through the lower half of the Pakistan order as the home side took control of the second Test by the close of the third day's play yesterday. 

The 22-year-old's first five-wicket haul in Test cricket helped New Zealand bowl out the tourists for 196 before the home side reached 75 for three wickets in their second innings when stumps were drawn, a lead of 245 runs.
