ZURICH: FIFA president Sepp Blatter said on Monday that Manchester United were not permitted to fight Rio Ferdinand's eight-month ban in a civil court.
United manager Alex Ferguson told British newspapers on Sunday that England defender Ferdinand was willing to go to court to clear his name after being given a ban from Jan 12 for missing a drugs test.
