LONDON: Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen has been ruled out for the rest of the year with a thigh injury, the Premier League club said on Monday.
Owen, who has not played since Liverpool's 1-0 UEFA Cup win over Steaua Bucharest on Nov 27, will miss three further Premier League matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bolton and Manchester City.
