NEWCASTLE: Newcastle manager Bobby Robson revealed that Laurent Robert shook off illness to score two cracking goals as Newcastle thrashed Tottenham 4-0 in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The French midfielder was a major doubt to even play the match but blasted in a 35th-minute volley to put Newcastle on the road to victory and added a second with a 30-yard rocket.
