Chandran-Al Amirul falter behind MacNamara-Philipp in non-stop endurance race


SUNGAI PETANI: Despite last minute attempts to take the lead, national motorcross champion M. Chandran and his teammate Mohd Al Amirul Ashshahid Mohd Salleh had to give way to Australian rider Brett Macnamara and his teammate in a four-hour non-stop endurance race in the Merbok International Motorcross Championship 2003 yesterday. 

Macnamara, 42, and Faehndrich Philipp, 16, from Switzerland completed 64 laps of the 4.2km track endurance race which ended at 3.30pm at the Bujang Valley Archaeology Museum race track in Merbok, near here.
