MANCHESTER: Manchester United have been boosted by the return to fitness of England defender Wes Brown which coincides nicely with a possible ban on his teammate Rio Ferdinand for missing a doping test.
Brown, 24, ruptured a cruciate ligament in his knee after tackling Wayne Rooney in a match at Everton on the final day of last season.
