VIETNAM are hosting the SEA Games for the first time but the organisers, gripped with a mix of national pride and sports mania, have promised that their inexperience will not be felt at all in the opening ceremonies today.
The official opening of the 22nd SEA Games will be held at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi while Ho Chin Minh City will also have their own opening simultaneously at the Phu Tho Games Hall.
