DOHA (Qatar): Top national women's squash player Nicol David failed in her bid to qualify for the quarter-finals of the US$103,000 Qatar Classic yesterday when she lost to seventh seed Natalie Grinham of Australia 2-9, 9-7, 0-9, 4-9 in the second round.
But the loss was no shame for Nicol, who only returned to the professional circuit in March this year after a one-year break from the game.
