JOHANNESBURG: Springbok wing Ashwin Willemse was named as South Africas Player of The Year at a gala dinner in Johannesburg on Friday.
The 22-year-old who admits that God and rugby saved him from a life of gangsterism in Cape Towns notorious Cape Coloured townships completed an unprecedented clean sweep when he was also named as Young Player of The Year and Players Player of The Year.
